Counting 1 to 30

Recently, i have been teaching Adelle to count "pigs" to sleep while i put Danelle to sleep first. Yes instead of the usual sheep counting, i ask her to count pigs.. hehehe...

Last week, she counted from 1 to 20 and yesterday night, she counted from 1 to 30 without pausing but she skipped 14,16 and 18 and then all the way to 30 with no missing numbers thereafter. I wonder why she skipped that 3 numbers?!?!

Anyway its a good try for her and i can also maximise the time to get her to learn counting!

Another new word that Adelle know was Telescope. Last week while we are on the road home, Adelle was chit chatting with us and she mentioned the word "Telescope". I told hubby that i was impressed with her vocabs and wonder where she learnt from? Interestingly, that weekend in church, the sunday school teacher was teaching abt telescope and Adelle could tell the teacher that it is a telescope when the teacher was asking the children what is the item. The teacher was also shocked to hear the word telescope coming out from Adelle as she never expect a 3yrs old kid know this word in the first place. Well to me, i started thinking is God trying to tell me or Adelle something about Telescope and his Vision? Hmm... i will know in due time. :)
