A Mit Concert

My boss just called and asked me if i am free tonite as he has 1 pair of complimentary A Mit concert to give me. When i heard "A Mit", i was thinking of who is this A Mit or is it some boys band?!?!? :)

Then i went google and found out that “A-MIT” stands for “A-Mei: Music is Transformed” is the title of her latest CD released in June this year. So it is a A Mei concert and guess she will be there with her famous white microphone that i saw during the F1 Rock concert.

Anyway i am not free tonite so i did not take the tickets. I think I am getting lost of touch of who are the latest singers and the entertainment news. The songs that I am most familiar these days are nursery rhymes and the latest shows on Disney Clubhouse. Kinda sad ya! :(

KinderMusik Trial Class

Katty and Cynthia organised a trial class @ KinderMusik (Tanglin Mall) on 24th Jan for the June Babies so i brought Danelle there. We paid $23 each and it was a 45 mins class for 8 babies. We arrived late and missed 10 mins of the introduction where the babies played balls and introduction. Nevertheless, we didn't missed much as the class is abt music and playing with the instruments. The most funny part was we(mums) are made to sing a silly song and dance the baby around. Yes, it is that stupid. Anyway, we had fun. Not becos of the class but within our group. Cos we knew each other and the babies were "playing" together. Daylon was a little tough boy and "attacked" Danelle... Poor baby... Then Diddy quickly put Daylon behind Kaley cos only she can "handle" Daylon and they were both busy crawling around the room since they are one of the oldest in the group and able to crawl already. After the class, we all decided not to sign up for the class since we don't find it useful nor fun. :)

Princess Danelle is 7 months old on 21st Jan

Danelle is doing lotsa push-up this month and she is attempting to crawl!

My new toy for this month is I have bought a second hand Fisher Price exersaucer @ $35 for Danelle to put at my mum place so that she can play with it during day time and used it for her feeding time too. I've decided not to buy a walker this time round because Adelle used a walker previously and become a slow walker. So i told hubby to try out exersaucer since the reviews of exersaucer is much better than walker. Let's see if Danelle can walker earlier than Adelle. :) Having said that, Danelle do love the exersaucer and enjoy bouncing inside it when the music plays.

Funny email

My vendor sent me this email yesterday and i just find it very funny when i read this email again and again. I shared the email with my staffs and they also laugh abt it especially the last part where my vendor say "Good fortune with your voice and smile."?!?!?! What has it got to do with my voice??? ;)

The email goes like this :

Dear Ms Debbie

I haven't seen you for a long time. I hope you're well.

Recently I often remember when we have started up.
Though we have encoutered many troubles in startup,we could overcome them thanks to you and your technical staff.
To tell the truth, if you feel it is joke, I visited in foreign country for the first time... That's why many trouble has occured sadly.
But they are my glorious memory and greate treasure in my life now.
So thank you for your helps and guide.

Secondly about current UAT, I apologize for my many mistakes and bad expressions.

Especially I should have recognized the two space in description when I set the description into configurations.
But I'm not good at identifying the detailed characters for a long time though you might not believe it.
It is my weakness,suffering and subject to improve in my life. (but there are many difficulties for me in the reality.)

For such and other reasons,now I'm educating our good technical staffs for the detailed work with more precision, consulting with XXX.
I would like to take over my job to our technical staffs.
Please assist me and our technical staff from now.

And please approve the UAT because of no time.
Off course please tell us if there are any problem.

Picnic gathering with SMH June 09 mummies @ Botanica Garden

Yeah, it's gathering time again. Originally the mummies intended to hold the picnic gathering @ Botanica Garden(ECO garden) on 16th jan but i told them that i can't make it cos it's Adelle birthday party so they are very kind to reschedule to another wk ie 23rd Jan. And with the change of date, my whole family went! :)

Each of us brought a food item along and I volunteered fruits while the rest brought drinks, beehoon, noodle, sandwich, fishball, soon kuey, cakes, nuggets, otak, agar agar, curry puff, salad, hotdog, fruit tarts, etc... Yummy Yummy! We had so much food that we can't finished in the end.

It was a nice gathering cos the daddies came along as well. So for the first time, we got the daddies in the pictures with the babies! :) Prior to the gathering, Regina told me to get Danelle to wear the cow costume so that Danelle can take pictures with Augustine who also has a similar costume. Kaley also has a cow costume but she was too busy crawing around the place thus she didnt take any pics with Danelle and Augustine. :)

All of us enjoyed the gathering cos it is the first time that we got abt 20 babies and families turning up!

Something Sweet

Something sweet happened on monday. When i went to pick up Adelle at my parents place, she will run over and hug me as usual. But that day her saliva dripped onto my blouse and my little girl quickly went to take tissue paper and start clean the saliva on my blouse. While she clean with the tissue, she say "Sorry Mummy". And of cos i told her that it is ok darling. My adelle is very sweet rite?? Through this incident, i can tell that my little girl has grown up liao. :)

Adelle is 2 years old!

We are KS this time cos we booked the venue (Safra Sea View Resort) in Nov last yr. And we got our friend Derrick to help us to book the place cos the chalet is not open to public except NS regulars. A big thank u to Derrick! :)

15th Jan(fri)

We checked in to the chalet in the late afternoon cos hubby went over first at 1-2pm to meet Derrick to collect the keys and then drop off some of our barang barang before coming back to fetch us. Bringing the whole family out ie 2 kids is not easy cos tonnes of clothes, diapers and other stuffs to bring.

On our way to the chalet, we went to pick up the mickey mouse helium balloon. I have ordered a 28inch mickey house mylar balloon but it didnt reach my postbox in time. So i sms the seller that i will go over to her house to get the balloon with helium instead and post back the balloon once i received it in my mailbox. She was kind enough to agree and refund me the $. When we were there to get the balloon, the seller gave us 2 small heart shape mylar balloons when she heard that i have 2 gals. Very nice of her! :) Previously during Adelle first birthday party, i also bought balloons from her. So far her prices is one of the lowest and she has ready stock available.

Finally we reached the chalet at 4+pm, we simply loved the place. It was sooo spacious and how i wish it is my house!!! :P The very interesting thing was 10+ yrs ago, i celebrated my 21st birthday at the same place and now i am back to celebrate Adelle birthday. :)

In the evening, we went to the coffeeshop opp Changi Village and tried the curry fishhead. It was yummilious! Cost $10 per claypot and good enough for 3 adults and 1 child. We also tried other dishes and will definitely go back there for meals again. After dinner, we went back to the chalet and shower the kids before putting them to sleep so that i can start decorating up the place and get ready for the party.

16th Jan (sat)

Adelle woke up in the morning and was very happy seeing her favourite mickey mouse decoration in the living room. As the weather was good, we brought the kids out to walk around the changi beach and take some pictures. The feeling was like we went for a short holiday in some beach resort.. hehehe... :P

We had nasi lemak for lunch that day as it was very hot so we decided to ta-bao back to eat so that we can eat comfortably in the chalet with aircon. After lunch, i was busy preparing sandwiches for the kiddos while my maid help to blow the balloon to decorate the place and give to the kids who attend the party.

Since the party was at a chalet, we decide to have a bbq party and I ordered from EZB. They have both cooked and uncooked food and I ordered fried beehoon, fried rice, fishball, otak, satay, curry chicken, chicken fillets, chicken wings, sting rays and prawns. Their price was reasonable and they deliver on time too.

The first guests arriving the chalet was Rykiel, Allan and Kylie. Then followed by Suping, Jack and Ivan. I asked Adelle to give out the goodie bag which is a mickey mouse whiteboard, coloring sheets and a small box of color pencils.

At around 5pm, hubby started the bbq fire to cook the raw food while our guests start arriving. After food, my sis and niece helped to do some simple games for the kids.

We did the cake cutting at around 8pm and Adelle was very happy with her mickey mouse cake which i custom order a 3kg cake from eCreative. I provided them the mickey mouse picture and they do a picture cake for me. The cake was so big and we invited a small group abt 50pax so we had a lot of cake leftover.

After cake cutting, most of our guest started leaving and the gals went for shower at 10pm before they go to sleep. It was a tiring day for us especially for hubby who was busy bbqing and there are so much food that he didn't managed to cook. We both concluded that we will not have anymore bbq party cos it is very siong for him to do the bbqing only... unless we made the guests to bbq for their own food nxt time? Hmm....

17th Jan (sun)

We checked out at 9+am and the security guard told us that there is a fight last nite. It was the group staying next unit to us. No wonder in the middle of the nite, we heard noise from next door but we didn't bother to check what's happen. The guard also told us to write complain against the group of indians (nxt unit) but of cos we didn't do so cos we booked the place through Derrick and not ourself so we decide not to complicate the matters.

Our car was packed with leftover food, cake, pressies and our barang barang but we managed to reach home with everything. :) Adelle was enjoying the open presents ceremony while Danelle take part in playing the toys. To our surprise, we received 3 kitchen sets...

Lastly, we wanna thank our friends and family who turn up for Adelle birthday party! Thank you for your presence and presents! :)

Outing @ Pasir Ris Kampong Kiids

We brought the gals out to Pasir Ris Kampong Kids on the 1st day of 2010! Though it was short trip and a very small "farm" but Adelle had fun. She saw little animals like rabbit, duck, rooster, fishes, dogs, etc. It took us less than 30 mins to complete touring around the mini farm. Ha...Anyway Adelle enjoyed herself especially she gets to feed the fishes for the first time. Every since then, she always look forward to feed fishes again... :)
