Happy Weekend

Weekend started on friday cos we went for cell group and Adelle gets to play with Caleb! She is always looking forward to play with Caleb. :)

Sat after church service, we brought the gals to the Playhouse @ Rochester House to check it out since it was newly opened. The toys are very new and in good condition. However, i find it a rather small playhouse so we left in 1 hour since they charged hourly. The food prices there also not cheap so we didn't stay for dinner. Overall, it is a nice playhouse for gals but i don't think i want to go there again as it doesn't worth the price.

On sun morning, we brought the gals for the most photogenic siblings competition @ Whampoa CC. Initially i tot we can bring any of their photo for the competition but it turn up that the siblings have to be at Whampoa CC to take picture on the actual day. Anyway, Adelle & Danelle didn't put on their happy smile infront of the camera and they can't sit still for the photoshoot session so we didn't win anything. :( Anyway i have expected it so i just join for fun. :)

Highlights of Danelle achievements @ 10mths old - Crusing

Yes, Danelle is getting very busy and cruising around the house. She loves to play with remote controls and like to hang out in playground. She and jie jie Adelle are starting to play together. She can also pick up tiny food like the gerber bites to feed herself and trying to hold pencil too.

We were at Kallang Leisure Park on saturday and saw this kiddy merry go round which cost $2 per ride but can take up to 4 pax. Cheap & the gals have fun! Danelle was dancing to the music in the background. She is sooo daring as this ride is recommend for 2yrs & above kiddo... :P

Birthday Parties

It was a busy sunday cos it was Isaac birthday party at 12pm and Max birthday party at 4pm. The gals likes attending parties though they get lesser nap time cos it crossed over the nap time and we gotta rush from one place to the other.

Isaac birthday party was a pooh bear theme and there are toys to keep the kiddos entertained. While Max party was a pirate theme and my brother engaged magician, inflatable float and emcee for the party. So Adelle was happily dancing away with the music behind and of cos she loves being with her cousins - Mark, Max and Janis! :)

It's been 2 months since Adelle attending school and finally i get to see what she did in school. It was interesting to see that they did quite a bit of craft work and painting which is Adelle favourite activity. However, her coloring skills was bad and colored all over the places. Hope she can improve over time.. :)

Kids Performing Creative Playschool Trial Class

One of the jan mummies has complimentary voucher for the trial class at Kids Performing Creative Playschool so i brought Adelle there to attend the trial with 2 other jan tods.

I tot it is a dancing and performance class but it is a class that teaches music and story telling. How disappointing... Overall, Adelle is able to participate the activities and followed instructions. She enjoyed the session but it doesn't meet my objective so we didn't sign up the class.

Fun @ Airport

My friend told me that there is a mini racing car at T3 basement carpark so i brought Adelle there to check it out. Initially we wanted to rent the family ride but it looked kinda dumb so we decided to let Adelle to drive the mini red car on her own. It cost abt $3-5 depending on the type of cars that we choose. With help from Daddy, Adelle completed the circuit 3 times. Good job baby! :)

Playdate @ Cayden House

Carine organised a playdate @ her house for Cayden and some of the june babies on 17th April (sat). Since it was weekend so i brought Adelle along too. Hubby sent us to Punggol in the morning and then went over to Randy house before coming back to pick us home again..

We were the first to arrive at Carine house and it was like a mini indoor playground cos full of toys, slides, swings, etc. Carine has an elder daughter call Elisha who is 3 years old. Shortly, Katty came with Kaley and Kieren. Followed by Junice with KaiQi and lastly Regina and Augustine.

The babies were playing the mat area while the old kids played with the slides, etc. The highlight of the day was Kieren act as the hair dresser for Adelle and he kneeled down to put on the ring for Adelle.. :P After Adelle "make-up" was done, Kieren proceed to do the hair for Elisha. So cute...

Long weekend of Good Friday

2nd April

It was a Public holiday(Good Friday) so we went to Jacob Ballas Garden. It was drizzling a little when we reached the carpark. By the time we walked to the water play area, the rain stopped. So Adelle went ahead and got herself wet in her clothes. She enjoyed the water play a lot while Danelle sat in the stroller looking at jie jie having fun. After the water play, we walked around the garden and took some pics too!

3rd April
Our church was celebrating the good friday and children gets to do painting on that day. They can paint anything that they felt led by God. And there were various rooms that were being setup with different activities in each room. Not sure what Adelle was painting but she had fun though.

4th April

It's baby Asher full month celebration! We were early this time and Adelle kept asking CheeWee where is baby Asher. :) Cos when we were at the basement carpark, i told her that she is attending Baby Asher party and the first thing she reach the function room is to look for baby Asher! So cute... :D Din managed to take pics with Baby Asher but he is such cheerful and handsome boy! :)

Amazing Adelle

Eversince Adelle started school, her language skills grow at exponential rates. She can say sentences like "Daddy take toothpaste brush teeth", "Go shopping buy egg", "I want to go garden", "Eat slowly mummy...", "Daddy say Adelle smelly pig", "Mummy go work work buy pizza ok?" and also story telling like "one day, blue kite..... one day, chicken...."

Other than english language, she learnt to sing many chinese songs too! She can also say some chinese word now. Hopefully my little potato will be good at both languages in future. ;) The only language that she refused to speak till now is teochew though she can understand what my parents are saying to her but she just doesnt want to say except chui (water). :

Adelle can focus better now and her coloring skills have improved unlike previously she always scribble the whole page but now she can color within the lines or circle.

Yesterday she was flipping the number 1-10 book and my aunty randomly pointed at 3,5,1,7,10 and asked Adelle what is this number. Adelle is able to tell my aunty all the numbers correctly though the numbers are not pointed in sequence! Good job baby! Mummy is proud of your little achievement! I think when I was 2 yrs old, I can't even count 1-10... :P Hence I am sooo impressed with my Amazing Adelle!
