Swimming Time

The weather was good lately so we have been bringing the gals to the pool. They simply love playing with water! Adelle has totally forgotton abt the bad experience in Genting and regain her water confidence! Hehee... While Danelle is also having fun @ the pool with Daddy around.

Randy & Sherolyn wedding - 21st March 2010

Our friend Randy & Sherolyn wedding on 21st March @ Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel! Adelle and Danelle went to the wedding dinner with us while our new maid stayed at home to clean up the house. We were "maid-less" for 3 weeks and finally have someone to clean the toilets and windows! :)

We were kind of late and only catches the last part of the solemnisation. During Weili and Sihui wedding, we totally missed the solemnisation cos we were very late. :P Having said that, we will be better in the next wedding which is Vozza and Trixie! Hahaa... improving each time. :D

In between the dinner, i brought Danelle out to change diaper and took some pics for her cos she turn 9mths old that day! She was having fun with the flowers on the reception tables.

As usual, we stayed late for the drinking session with bride and groom and group pics too. Hehee... but i didn't drink that nite cos i am still breastfeeding... :P

Princess Danelle is 9 months old on 21st Mar

She like to play peekaboo and able to take food with her fingers. Another TV addicts like her jie jie but she can't sit still. I wonder y? So the bumbo seat was under utilized this time. She is also learning to crawl up and down the sofa now so that makes her very busy and "dangerous". Thus, i bought another new toy - Leapfrog exersaucer for her. It trapped her in it when we are at home so i need not worry abt her falling off the sofa.

Despite we have a new maid this month, Danelle doesnt have issue adjusting to the changes. The only problem is Danelle rejected bottle feeding and thus, she only have 2 milk feed a day ie she will latch in the morning and when i am back at night before her sleeping time. Otherwise, she is eating well with her 2 bowls of porridge daily. She also starting to loose weight so we decided to give her rice cereal with milk to replace the milk feeds. This will ensure that she gets sufficient nutrients and thus this is her daily diet :

7-8am mama milk

9-10am porridge

1 pm cereal with ebm

3.30-4pm porridge

7pm cereal with ebm

10pm mama milk

1 am mama milk

Hope she will put on weight with the new dieting plan. :)

Zoo outing

"Daddy's bringing us to the zoo tomorrow, zoo tomorrow, zoo tomorrow"... Yes, we went to the Zoo on 9th March!

Since hubby is not working now so we decided to go to Zoo on weekdays to avoid the crowds. Though we just fired our maid, we still went ahead and survived the outing on our own. :) All thanks to our 2 darlings who behaved well that day and didn't give us much problem. Danelle sat in the stroller throughout the outing and Adelle walk a bit here and there so i can take a break too.

We set off to zoo after our lunch and it was a sunny day with very little crowd that day. We only managed to catch the polar bear performance and walk around the zoo. Then we take a break at the Rainforest KidzWorld KFC so that i can feed Danelle milk. The only disappointment was Adelle didnt get to play at the water play area as it was closed for maintainance that day. :( Nevertheless, Adelle did enjoyed the outing as she saw many animals like the monkey, horse, goats, tigers and hippos.

We left at 4pm as it looks like going to rain and thank god, it only started to pour heavily when we are all loaded onto the car. :) Both my darlings KO on the way home cos they are very tired after spending 4hrs in the zoo.

We look forward to the next zoo trip again!

Danelle can pull herself up

Danelle surprised us again. She pulled herself up and stand via the low height storage cabinet. :) Another significant milestone at 8.5mths old! Well done baby!
